1. Investigate and measure peripheral vision and field of view for 3 qualities of vision: motion, color identification, and reading.
2. Explore a variety of magnifiers to discover the properties of lenses
3. Use color boxes to investigate color vision and understand that photoreceptors (rods and cones) are sensitive to different aspects of light
1. Review the structure and function of the Retina by taking notes and reviewing the Vision Stations Lab
2.Reading Brain & Senses: The Retina p. 36-38 & Field of Vision p. 39 to explore the retina and peripheral vision
3. Science Journal: Explain the difference in results at the peripheral vision station between- motion, color and reading
