10/2 Lenses and Light  TSWBAT

1. Use lenses to project images using radiant, reflected, and transmitted light, and discover that the projected image is inverted and reversed. Diagram the pathway of light though a lens.

2. Review 10. Lenses and Light to understand the different types of light and the pathway light travels

3. Define vision vocabulary words in notes section: refraction, angle of incidence, angle of refraction, lens, focus, principal focus (focal length), image, projected image, image focus distance,  myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism

1. Investigate and measure peripheral vision and field of view for 3 qualities of vision: motion, color identification, and reading.

2. Explore a variety of magnifiers to discover the properties of lenses

3. Use color boxes to investigate color vision and understand that photoreceptors (rods and cones) are sensitive to different aspects of light
