1. View Parts of the Brain Video  to review the 3 main parts of the brain (cerebrum, cerebellum, brain stems) & the 4 lobes of the cerebrum (frontal, parietal, temporal, occipital) and write a journal entry about how you used each lobe of the brain today

2. Take notes on structure and function of the 4 lobes of the brain and the Limbic System & go over

6/4 The Teenage Brain

1. Discuss the dangers of how depressants such as drugs and alcohol affect the brain: Teenage Brain Video 1, Risk Taking Video, Teenage Brain Video 2 (Drugs and Alcohol) and write a response to the videos in science journal

2. Understand how the teenager's frontal lobe differs from an adult and how it affects decision making, concentrating, and emotional responses
