3.Understand a class demonstration of how viruses are transmitted and create a model of the transmission through direct and indirect contact in a Science Journal in preparation for the first science current event: topic: Swine Flu (H1N1)

2.Read a Current Events Article about the vaccines being prepared for the Swine Flu to become familiar with Science around us and understand the procedures for article analysis

2. Science Journal: Accident Report & Recall questions- students will observe an accident and then recall the events followed by a class discussion about which aspects of the event were the easiest to remember and why
